Thierry Somma has been appointed as the new Country Head of the Simmons & Simmons Luxembourg office, effective 1 May 2025. A transactional lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate law and M&A, Thierry joined Simmons & Simmons in 2018 and has led the Luxembourg Corporate and M&A practice since then — a role he will continue to hold alongside his new leadership responsibilities and his recent election to the firm’s board. He succeeds Louis-Maël COGIS, who has been instrumental in shaping and growing the presence in Luxembourg over the past decade.
