John Hourican, CEO Global Banking and Markets (GBM), RBS, said: I am delighted to welcome Pascal to RBS. Pascal has 22 years experience in international investment banking and brings with him considerable expertise. His proven record as a dynamic and successful senior leader will be invaluable as we continue our focus on the development of the RBS franchise in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Pascal Poupelle will join the GBM EMEA board. He will start at RBS on May 2nd after a transition with Jan de Ruiter who acted as interim Regional Executive for France, Belgium and Luxembourg since January 2011 and who will resume his former role as Country Head for RBS in the Netherlands.
