On 4 December 2025 the European Commission published its Market Integration Package (“MIP”) consisting of two proposals as regards the further development of the capital market integration and the supervision within the European Union – one for a Directive amending the UCITS Directive, the AIFMD and MiFID (the “MIP Directive”) and a second proposal for a Regulation amending EMIR, MiFIR, CSDR, SFTR, CBDR, CCPRRR, DLTPR, MiCA, the CRA Regulation, the Benchmarks Regulation, the Securitisation Regulation, the European Green Bonds Regulation and the ESG Ratings Regulation (the “MIP Regulation”).
