The Certificate in ESG Investing, the first qualification of its kind, was launched by the CFA Society of the UK in December 2019. The certificate has been introduced to meet the increased demand for ESG knowledge and skills in the investment sector and is already seeing high uptake. And now, CFA Society Luxembourg has partnered with CFA Society UK to bring the certificate to Luxembourg.
In the UK, more than 1,000 candidates have signed up to complete the course in the past few months. The launch follows a successful pilot programme in September 2019. Participants in the pilot programme represented a wide spectrum of the profession, including asset owners, asset managers, consultants and pension providers.
