HSBC Bank PLC plans to open Luxembourg branch
HSBC Bank plc announced plans to open a branch in Luxembourg to expand its banking services to corporate clients. The bank has received the necessary agreement from the United Kingdom and Luxembourg bank regulatory authorities. The branch is expected to begin operations towards the end of the summer. It will enable HSBC to improve its Payments and Cash Management offering for global and regional corporate and institutional clients. Services will be improved by giving clients access to a dedicated relationship manager and real-time detailed account reporting using HSBCnet, the bank’s online banking platform for business and corporate customers.
