There exists an increasingly popular belief that artificial intelligence will disrupt labour markets. Some people are even scared about errors that might occur in technical domains, like warfare, where technical errors might have devastating effects. Moreover, research on rational decision-making seems to indicate that artificial intelligence is efficient in some environments while error-prone in some more complex environments. In passing, it might be worthwhile highlighting that artificial intelligence is not “intelligent” as such, but rather consists in a set of statistical learning algorithms with a huge amount of data.
