These are the initials that have been concerning the financial sector these past few years: MiFID II. As in the fable, we believed the wolf was coming yet it never appeared, with various delays over the date owing to a failure to complete the changeover to standards… but it does appear that in 2018 the entire sector will need to have introduced the changes required. This year, 2017, still gives us an opportunity to adapt and adjust to the transformation required by the standard, with time and effort. To achieve this, technology is an essential tool.
