Many European companies provide technologies, products and services that deliver positive change for society and the environment. With European businesses claiming the top four spots of Corporate Knights' '100 most sustainable companies globally' and accounting for just under half of the full list, the continent is quietly becoming a global leader in sustainability.
What's more, investing in the most sustainable companies does not require sacrificing performance. Since its inception in 2005 to the end of 2019, the Corporate Knights 100 returned 7.3% against the MSCI ACW index return of 7.0% on an annualised basis.
