AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) today announces the launch of the AXA SPDB Chinese Equity A-Shares strategy which invests in small and mid-cap Chinese companies in order to give investors access to long-term Chinese growth.
Unlike the majority of Chinese equity strategies which are benchmarked against large cap indices, the AXA SPDB Chinese Equity A-Shares strategy is biased towards small and mid-cap private companies in the belief that these offer strong fundamentals and high growth prospects. Based on a dynamic factor model, the stock selection process seeks to identify no more than 200 of the most attractive stocks within the investment universe (the CSI RAFI 400).
