HSBC announces that Lars Rejding is appointed Country Chief Executive Officer Designate of HSBC in Luxembourg. He will succeed Nigel H. Fielding, who has decided to retire from HSBC after a career in banking spanning 37 years.
The handover of responsibilities will take place over the coming months, subject to regulatory approval. Lars Rejding has held senior positions at HSBC for 19 years, most recently as Country Chief Executive Officer of HSBC in Kazakhstan, and previously in Latin America, Russia and Sweden.
