Cargolux took delivery of another Boeing 747-8 Freighter at the aircraft manufacturers delivery center in Everett. After a short ferry flight to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the fourth aircraft out of a total order of 13 entered into revenue service on the same day with the flight continuing to Los Angeles prior to joining the Cargolux fleet in Luxembourg. LX-VCE, which is the first aircraft that was not part of the test flight program, is also the first 747-8F delivered from Boeing with increased operational weights. The maximum takeoff weight has gone up by 6 tonnes to 442 tonnes.
