On Monday 19 November Baker and McKenzie held a press lunch at their new offices on Boulevard Roosevelt, Luxembourg. The event was held to mark the anniversary of their 2nd year in the Grand Duchy and to demonstrate their optimism for and commitment to the Luxembourg financial centre going forward. Baker and McKenzie was first established in Luxembourg in October 2010 with a team of 20 lawyers and tax advisers specialising in corporate, mergers acquisitions, banking, funds and tax advice. Today it counts more than 60 employees, including 45 specialist lawyers and tax advisers, a clear indication of the tremendous growth the firm has enjoyed over the last two years.
