Fostering risk management excellence in microfinance by connecting Luxembourg to leading microfinance institutions

For the past four years, the ATTF (Financial Technology Transfer Agency, Luxembourg) with its partners ADA (Appui au Dveloppement Automone) and PRIM (Luxembourg Association for Risk Management Professionals) has been organising a workshop dedicated to the risk management in leading Microfinance institutions (MFIs), designed especially for high-level executives of leading MFIs that have already established or are about to establish their own Risk Management Department. This project is entirely in line with the needs of the so-called Tier 1 MFIs. Today, training in the area of risk management has become a real priority for MFIs all over the world. Luxembourg has been one of the first EU countries to recognize the value of Microfinance as a tool to fight poverty...
