International asset manager Henderson Global Investors has strengthened its sales team in the Benelux with the appointment of Douglas Barker as sales manager Benelux. He will report to Erik van de Weele, head of fund sales Benelux. Douglas (44) has over 17 years of experience in the financial sector. He joins Henderson from Rabobank, where he was senior investment manager for Rabobank Wealth Management in Amsterdam. Before that he has worked for ABN AMRO Asset management and ABN AMRO Private Banking. Together with Erik, Douglas will be responsible for enhancing and building partnerships with current and future distribution partners in the Benelux.
