Genii Capital retains controlling stake in Lotus F1 Team - Gerard Lopez continues as Chairman of the Team
Genii Capital S.A. (Genii Capital) has today announced that Infinity Racing Partners Limited (Infinity Racing) has acquired a 35% minority stake in Lotus F1 Team Limited (Lotus F1 or the Team) effective immediately. The acquisition marks another milestone for Lotus F1 Team in its quest to become the leading outfit in Formula 1 racing. The Team finished fifth in the 2011 Constructors’ Championship and fourth in 2012.
