Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex”), a global financial services provider, is providing ETC Group with administrative support and trustee services for BTCetc ETC Group Physical Bitcoin (Ticker: BTCE) an exchange traded cryptocurrency (“ETC”) that tracks the price of Bitcoin, distributed by HANetf Limited (“HANetf”).
Apex was mandated by ETC Group to provide trustee oversight services to ensure delivery on payment for the BTCE Bitcoin ETC, which is listed on Deutsche Börse’s XETRA and SIX Swiss Exchange has amassed over $1.2 billion in AUM since launch in June 2020. Apex will also provide back office administration support services reconciling the subscription/redemption activity for the note.
