ebrc launches LEX, an Ethernet interconnection service

ebrc launches LEX (Luxembourg Ethernet eXchange), a new service that will strengthen the hub role that Luxembourg has increasingly been playing in Europe. LEX is intended for telecoms operators and will allow them to interconnect at Ethernet level, so that they can offer full Ethernet services to their clients while guaranteeing quality of service and transparency of Ethernet protocols. LEX, as a peering Ethernet service, strictly follows the MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) recommendations. LEX will reduce the costs of Ethernet Carriers. It should also have a beneficial impact on the final clients and increase the attractiveness of Luxembourg further.
