Directive (EU) 2019/2121 (the “Mobility Directive”), which amends Directive (EU) 2017/1132, was adopted on 27 November 2019 and was supposed to be transposed into national laws by Member States by 31 January 2023. The corporate law aspects of the Mobility Directive were implemented into Luxembourg law with the law of 17 February 2025 (the “Law”), which amends in particular the law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies, as amended (the “Company Law”).
