Structured Products - Why restructuring your investments will enhance your portfolio value and your client relationship

One of the main criticisms made to Structured Products industry is the lack of follow-up of the investments on the secondary market. Numerous sales teams tend to consider that, once the selling process succeeded, they should focus on the next primary market deal only. I think they are wrong for many reasons. There are indeed many benefits both for themselves and their clients to consider restructuration opportunities, and not so many reasons not to do so... But what do we mean by restructuring?A restructuration or an arbitrage consists in selling an existing product at market price and purchasing simultaneously another product at same price with slightly different characteristics in order to improve one of the products features: yield, capital...
