On 29 May 2013 the Luxembourg Depositary Bank Forum (DBF), a joint forum between the ABBL and Alfi had the pleasure of hosting the meeting of the European Trustee Depository Forum (ETDF) with representatives from 8 European countries. After a presentation by the Italian Banking Association ABI of their market and state of regulatory affairs, the focus of the discussions centred on the AIFMD implementation and exchanges of views on the different market practices. Concretely, the introductory brainstorming session represented an opportunity to assess the level of readiness of the different Member States represented.
