As of 1 January 2011 the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) joined the European Federation for Retirement Provision as a Full Member. Such decision was taken at the EFRP General Assembly of the Members (GAM) of 8 November 2010 in Rome. The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry is the representative body of the Luxembourg investment fund community. ALFI has a dedicated pension fund working group that works in close cooperation with the Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds de Pension. It also promotes Luxembourg as a pension fund platform. At the same GAM, Mr. Charles MULLER, Deputy Director General of ALFI, was elected to the Board of Directors.
